Mrs. Ruth Holman

Mrs. Ruth Holman, 88, 515 Horne, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at a Topeka convalescent center.

Mrs. Holman was a licensed practical nurse. She worked at the Supply Depot during World War II. She was born June 1, 1898, at Bevier, Mo., the daughter of John B. and Elizabeth Jane Davis Evans. She spent most of her life in Kansas and lived in Topeka since 1971.

She was married to Robert L. Holman April 25, 1920, at Bevier, Mo. He died in 1966.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Wilmoth Williams, Topeka, and Mrs. Arlene Hazlett, Hood River, Ore., a son Bob Holman, Sacramento, Ca.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Richardsdale Cemetery in Bevier, Mo. Parker-Price Mortuary is in charge of Topeka arrangements. Carney Funeral Chapel at Macon, Mo., is in charge of Missouri arrangements.
