Obituary- Hoobler, Raymond

RAYMOND D. HOOBLER
Raymond Delbert Hoobler, aged 61, died of kidney failure early Monday morning, March 23, 1981, at his home in Fort Wayne, Ind. Ray was born in Madison, Ks., on September 12,1919, to the late Vern P. and Myrtle Hoobler, and grew up in the Turkey Creek and Maple Hill communities. He served with the United States Army in India during World War II, and later owned the Victor Machine and Tool Company, Fort Wayne. His first wife, Marie Haase, died in 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline; a son, Jerry; and a daughter, Gail; all of Fort Wayne; seven brothers, Harold Hoobler, Maple Hill, Lloyd Hoobler and Everett Hoobler, both of St. Marys, Dwight Hoobler, Rossville, Albert Hoobler, Wamego, Forrest Hoobler, Topeka, and Arlan Hoobler, Seattle, Wash.; and one sister, Mrs. Mildred Ronsse, St. Marys.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, March 25, in Fort Wayne, Ind.
