Obituary- Hook, Louie

Mrs. Louie Lucile Hook
Mrs. Louie Lucile Hook, 62, 1205 Garfield, died at her home Tuesday, following an extended illness.

She was born Dec. 11, 1880, in Bourbon County near Fort Scott. For the past fifty years she had made her home in Topeka. Mrs. Hook was a member of the Toltec Rite of Topeka, Westminster Presbyterian church and the Security Benefit Association.

She is survived by her husband, J.W. Hook, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Kasten, Topeka; one brother, Clyde W. Wasson, Topeka.

Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Penwells funeral home.

W.H. Wasson was principal of Rossville Grade School in 1896 and taught for six years. The family lived in the late Bill Baylis cottage on north Main St.
