Mr. and Mrs. Thurlow Neiswender and daughter of Cicero, Ill., drove to Rossville Sunday morning called by the critical condition of his mother, Mrs. W.V. Hook. He returned home Monday and Mrs. Neiswender remained to assist in the care of Mrs. Hook. --18 Nov. 1937

Mr. and Mrs. Thurlow Neiswender and daughter returned, Monday, to their home at Cicero, Ill. following a stay of a week with his mother, Mrs. W.V. Hook. They were called home by the serious illness of Mrs. Hook. --4 Nov. 1937

Hook: Mrs. Mattie Attebury, Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. Barteldes, Lawrence; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. George Fiederling, Mr. and Mrs. Will VanOrsdol, John Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Paramore, Mrs. Ellen Merillat, Miss Margaret Bond, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kassebaum, all of Topeka; Mr. and Mrs. B.M. Hook, Mrs. Alice Neiswender, Raymond Neiswender and A.J. Thomas, all of Silver Lake.
