Obituary- Baumchen, Albert

Albert P. Baumchen
ST. MARYS — Albert P. Baumchen,
91, St. Marys, died Thursday, May 18, 1995, at his home.
Mr. Baumchen farmed and operat¬ed the White Spot in St. Marys before he retired.
He was born June 17, 1903, on a farm near St. Marys, the son of Peter and Christina Lenherr Baumchen. He was graduated from St. Marys Col¬lege in St. Marys.
Mr. Baumchen was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys.
He was married Eleanor Lane on Feb. 10, 1945, at Delia. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Rita Perine, Rossville; three sons, Larry Baumchen, Olathe, Bob Baumchen, Silver Lake, and Pete Baumchen, Hutchinson; and eight grand¬children.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. Me¬morial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.

Albert P. Baumchen, 91, St. Marys, died at his home Thurs¬day, May 18, 1995.
He was born June 17, 1903 on a farm near St. Marys, the son of Peter and Christina Lenherr' Baumchen. He grew up in the St. Marys community, and had lived all of his life in St. Marys. He was graduated from St. Mary’s College.
On February 10, 1945, he was married to Eleanor Lane at Sa¬cred Heart Catholic Church in Delia. She survives.
Mr. Baumchen was a farmer, and he owned and operated “The White Spot” before he re¬tired.,
He was a member of the Im¬maculate Conception Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Baumchen is survived by a daughter, Rita Perine, Ross-ville; three sons, Larry Baum¬chen, Olathe, Bob Baumchen, Silver Lake, and Pete Baum¬chen, Hutchinson; and .eight grandchildren.
A rosary was recited at 7:00 Friday evening at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 Saturday morning at the Im¬maculate Conception Church; interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception i Catholic Church.
