Katherine Jessepe
HOLTON— Mrs. Katherine Jessepe, 78, Holton, died Wednesday morning in a Holton hospital after a short illness.

She was born April 12, 1891, at Mayetta, and lived her entire life in the Mayetta and Holton communities.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Josephine Sumner, Louisville; three sons, Orville Rice, 2124 Kansas, Philip Jessepe, 309 Fairchild, and Lester L. Jessepe, 616 W. St. John, all of Topeka; one brother, George Matsappo, Delia; 35 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Friday evening at Pottawatomie Community Building, west of Mayetta. Burial will be Saturday afternoon in the family cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home, Holton, is in charge of arrangements.
