Elmer Rovell Heslet

Services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Rossville United Methodist Church in Rossville, for Elmer Rovell Heslet, 67, Rossville, who died Thursday, January 1, 1976 in a Topeka hospital. He had a heart ailment.

He was born March 14, 1908 at Rossville, and was a lifelong resident of the community. He operated a lawn mower repair service.

He was married to Norma Meier on November 30, 1958 in Lincoln. She survives.

Other survivors include five sons, Bert Heslet, Elmer Rovell Heslet, Jr., Howard Heslet, William Heslet and Darrel Heslet, all of Rossville; a daughter, Mrs. Rosa Lyle, Rossville, and six grandchildren.

Burial was in Rossville Cemetery under direction of Parker Mortuary in Topeka. Casket bearers were James Davis, John Davis, Omer Van Vleck, Albert Coleman, Gerald Reser and LaVerne Spears, all from Rossville.

Memorial contributions for Mr. Heslet may be made to the United Methodist Church, Rossville.
