Obituary- Keller, Emma 2
Mrs. Emma Keller
ROSSVILLE - Mrs. Emma Keller, 90, a lifelong Delia-Rossville area resi¬dent, died at a nursing home here Thursday.
She was born June 12, 1889, in the Cross Creek community northwest of Delia in Jackson County, the daughter of Romi and Flora Bell Ward Mullinix. She was a member of Delia Presbyteri¬an Church.
She was married March 1, 1914, in Holton to Lindsay Keller. He survives.
Other survivors include three daugh¬ters, Mrs. Wanda Parr, Delia, Mrs. Naomi Sumner and Mrs. Geneva Fair¬banks, both of Rossville; two sons, Phi¬lip W. Keller, 1035 Prairie Road, Tope¬ka, and John Vernon Keller, Rossville; one brother, Waldo E. Bahner, Ard¬more, Okla., a sister, Callie Brown, Quitman, Texas, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rossville Christian Church. Burial will be in Delia Cemetery. Mrs. Keller will lie in state at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, from 5 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at the church. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
