Obituary- Keller, Charles O. 1
Charles O. Keller
Charles O. Keller, 67, Rossville, died Monday, February 9, 1998 at a Topeka hospital.
He had lived in the Rossville community for many years.
He was born November 4, 1930, in Delia, the son of Levi and Mabel King Keller.
He was graduated from Rossville High School in 1948, and at¬tended Clark’s Business School in Topeka. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in 1976. He later drove a school bus for Kaw Valley USD 321, and farmed with his son for several years. He was a member of the Rossville United Methodist Church; a member of Lake Lodge No. 50 AF&AM, Silver Lake; and the Moose Lodge in Topeka.
He was married to Phyllis Jane Page on March 12,1950. She survives. He was preceded in death by a brother, George Keller.
Survivors include a son, Dennis Keller, Rossville; two daughters, Tammy Scott, Silver Lake, and Jennifer Lesser, Olathe; a brother, Richard Keller, Topeka; three sisters, Freda Rickson and Juanita Raab, both of Topeka, and Elrena Lester, Quincy, FL; and three grandchildren.
Friends and relatives met Wednesday at the Rossville United Methodist Church. His service was Thursday at the church. Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery under direction of Piper Funeral Chapel, Rossville, with Lake Lodge No. 50 conducting Masonic graveside service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, or the Rossville United Methodist Church, and sent in care of the funeral home.
