Obituary- Keller, George
GEORGE H. KELLER
Services were 2 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary for George H. Keller, 55, Birmingham, Ala., who died Thursday. September 16, 1976 in Birmingham. He had a heart ailment.
He was born May 5, 1921 in Delia, and attended Delia and Rossville schools and was graduated from Rossville High School. He also attended Emporia State College.
He was a veteran of World War II. He was a B17 pilot and a prisoner of war for nine months in Europe. He retired after 23 years as a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force. He had lived in Birmingham the past nine years and was associated with Summit-Ford Trucking Co.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rites and the Arab Shrine, all at Birmingham.
He was married to Marthelle Snodgrass March 12, 1944. She Survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Richard Keller, Alexander, Ind.; Mark Keller and Ken Keller, at home; two brothers, Richard Keller, and Charles Keller, Rossville; three sisters, Elrena Parr, Juanita Rabb, and Freda Hackler, all of Topeka; and four grandchildren.
Burial was in Pomona Cemetery, Pomona.
