Orville R. Keller
Orville R. Keller, 76, Holton, died Tuesday, July 5, 1988, at a Topeka hospital.

Mr. Keller was a farmer and stockman.

He was born March 23, 1912, at Delia, the son of Robert and Almena Redmon Keller. He lived 47 years in the Holton community and previously lived near Mayetta.

He was married to Josephine White Sept. 2, 1934, in Topeka. She survives. A son, Gary Keller, died in 1940 and another son, Joseph Keller, died in 1964.

Other survivors include two daughters, Delores “Dee” Deppe, Kansas City, Kan., and Bette Keller, Holton; five sisters, Bessie Holcomb, Wenatchee, Wash., Helen Anderson, Seattle, Wash., Goldie Scott, Everett, Wash., Lucille Clark, Roswell, N.M., and Roberta Clark, Topeka; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church at Holton. Burial will be in Brick Cemetery southeast of Holton. Mr. Keller will lie in state from noon today until service time at First United Methodist Church in Holton where relatives and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. today. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
