Obituary- Kelsey, Scott d.1971 2

He was a member of Topeka's first Boy Scout troop, which was founded in 1913 at the Oakland Presbyterian Church.

He was married to Iva Carothers on Sept. 15, 1919, at Nevada, Mo. She survives at home.

Other survivors, besides his widow, include three sons, Scott W. Kelsey and Richard D. Kelsey, both of Rossville, and Sam G. Kelsey, Silver Lake; a brother, Chester J. Kelsey, Silver Lake; and seven grandchildren.

Graveside Services
The Grand Lodge of Kansas will conduct graveside services at Topeka Cemetery.

Mr. Kelsey will lie in state after 2 p.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Masonic Temple, 30th and MacVicar.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Temple Building Assn. Fund or the Oakland United Methodist Church.
