Obituary- Kimbal, Warren 3

WARREN P. KIMBAL
Warren P. Kimbal, 64, died Friday, June 5,1987, at his home in Topeka. Mr. Kimbal was born March 2, 1923, at Topeka, Ks., the son of Ralph B. and Ina C. Kannarr Kimbal.

Mr. Kimbal was a farmer and motor grader operator in Jackson County until he retired in October 1986, due to ill health.

He had lived in Topeka most of his life. From 1965 until November 1986, he had lived in the Delia and Solider communities, returning to Topeka after that time.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Holton; a 50-year member of the Grange, holding memberships in Indian Creek #1431, Topeka, and Banner #1481, Holton, having served both Granges as Master; a member of Delia and Soldier Lion’s Club for 22 years, having been a Past President and ser¬ving in several District Offices in the Lion’s Club; and a member of Circleville Lodge #20, AF&AM. He was also a F.F.A. Star Farmer from Seaman High School.

He was married to Laura M. Wulfkuhle on April 4, 1948, at Topeka. She survives. An infant daughter, Penny Kimbal preceded him in death in 1965.

Other survivors include: one son and his wife, David W. and Joanna Kimbal, Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters and their husbands, Jeanette M. and Ronnie Bowen, Atlanta, Ga., and Joyce K. and Kevin Gibson, Leona; seven grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Esther Shorthill, Topeka; an aunt, Ruth Marken, Topeka.

Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday at Second Presbyterian Church. Masonic graveside services were conducted by Circleville Lodge #20, AF&AM at Rochester Cemetery. Family visitation was from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Parker-Price Mortuary.
