Obituary- King, Henry
HENRY KING LAID TO REST SATURDAY MORNING
Mr. Henry King who passed away last Thursday evening, was laid to rest in Rossville cemetery Saturday forenoon. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church conducted y the pastor, Rev. G.C. Albin.
The deceased gentleman had been a resident of Rossville for the past four years coming here with his family in October, 1920, from Walnut Grove, Mo. He had been in ill health practically all his life, and since May of this year had been bedfast most of the time.
Mr. King was a native of Salem, Arkansas, where he was born May 1, 1848. At the date of his death he was 76 years, 3 months and 28 days old. He was united in marriage to Adelia McClure April 16, 1888, to this union three children were born. The surviving members of his family are these children and his wife: Mrs. Merle Elliott, of Peach Valley, Mo., Mrs. Laura Denby, of Walnut Grove, Mo., and Henry Ustel King of the home address.
HENRY KING DIED TODAY
Mr. Henry King, who lives in the southwest part of the city died this afternoon. The deceased gentleman has been very low the past few days. He became so much worse early this morning his son, working in Topeka, was sent for. As we go to press funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Mrs. Laura Denby, a daughter of the late Henry King, was here from Walnut Grove, Mo., for the funeral of Mr. King, held Saturday morning. --4 Sept. 1924
Mrs. Henry King and her daughter Mrs. Laura Denby left yesterday for the latter's home in Walnut Grove, Mo., where Mrs. King will remain for about a month. --4 Sept. 1924
