Obituary- Beer, Peter

Peter A. Beer
WILLARD — Peter A. Beer, 88, Wil¬lard, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1992, at home.
Mr. Beer was a construction fore¬man and farmer before he retired.
He was born Nov. 26, 1904, at Saffordville, the son of Clarence and Ma¬bel Gangloff Beer.
He was married to Adrienne M. Viergever on Aug. 10, 1947, at Con¬cordia. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Elberta J. Searcy, at home; five sis¬ters, Ina Mae Finical and Opal Smith, both of Burlington, Hazel Moorehead, lola, Eileen Walker, Syracuse, and Evelyn Telfer, Emporia; and a broth¬er, Clarence Beer Jr., La Cygne.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be in Dover Cemetery. Mr. Beer will lie in state after 8 a.m. today at the mortuary. Memorial contribu¬tions may be made to Jimmie Lillard Post No. 1 of the American Legion in Rossville, 66533.
