Raymond H. Koon, Jr.
Raymond H. Koon, Jr., 57, Topeka, died Tuesday, August 8, 1995, at his home in Topeka.

Mr. Koon was a retired supervisor at the U.S. Postal Service in Topeka. Mr. Koon served in the Army Reserves.

He was born August 1, 1938, at Mingo Junction, Ohio, the son of Raymond H. Sr. and Maxine B. Weber Koon. He attended Kansas State University and was graduated from Kansas City Air School.

Mr. Koon was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Brian Koon, Rossville; a daughter, Beth Miller, Marion, Ind.; his mother, Maxine Koon, Manhattan; and four sisters, Charlene Rogers, El Cajon, Calif., Janet Morris, Kansas City, Mo., Teresa Mann, Manhattan, and Mary Kay Dollar, Tampa, Fla.

A memorial service for relatives and friends will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 19, at St. Thomas More Chapel at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manhattan, Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Topeka, is in charge of arrangements.
