Anna Kovar Dies At Age 90

Mrs. Anna Kovar, 90, a
resident of the Rossville
community the past 69
years, died Sunday at the
home of her daughter, Mrs.
Mollie Mitchell in Rossville.

Mrs. Kovar was born
Jan. 10, 1874 in Moravia,
Czechoslovakia, and came
to the United States in 1889.
Her husband, John Kovar,
died Jan. 28. 1944.

She was a member of
The Delia Presbyterian
Church and ZCBJ Lodge
No. 128, Rossville.

Survivors include three
Daughters, Mrs. Frances
Matyak, Rossville, Mrs.
Rosie Koci, Delia, and Mrs.
Mitchell; two sons, Peter
Kovar, Rossville, and
Charlie Kovar, Delia; a
Brother, John Balusek,
Rossville; 18 grandchildren
and 26 great-grandchildren.

Services were at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in the Delia Presbyterian
Church with burial
in the Moravian Cemetery
near Delia.

Parker Mortuary, Topeka,
was in charge of arrangements.
