Obituary- Kovar, Rudolph
First Death in Paul Kovar Family
Rudolph Edwin Kovar, aged 8 years, 6 months and two days, the eighth child of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kovar died Tuesday, April 10th, after being sick over five weeks, and the funeral was held last Thursday, April 12, conducted by the Rev. Crawford.
Little Rudolph was taken down first with rheumatism and later developed pneumonia. Surviving the last named he contracted measles and the latter was too much for his weakened little body and he succumbed after much suffering.
It is probable that he would never have been strong because of the ravages of the rheumatism, which had affected his heart. The loss of little Rudolph is the first in the Kovar's family of ten children and his loss is a great bereavement to his parents.
Rudolph was a student in the Delia public schools and beautiful floral offerings were sent by his fellow students. The pallbearers were Joe Gillgannon, Arthur Jackson, Miles Wolfe and Frank Moore of the Delia high school. The members of the U.B. church also sent beautiful flowers.
Besides his parents he is survived by five brothers and four sisters. The body was laid to rest in the Bohemian cemetery.
