DENNIS LYNN BENNETT
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, July 29, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville for Dennis Lynn Bennett, 26, Nevada, Mo., formerly of Rossville. Rosary was at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Verschelden Chapel. He died Thursday, July 25, 1985, at his home.
Nevada police said Mr. Bennett died of an apparent self- inflicted gunshot wound, and the death was still under in¬vestigation.
Mr. Bennett was a plumber of Hillier Plumbing Co., at Nevada.
He was born June 28, 1959, at Topeka, the son of Kenneth L. and Norma Reicherter Bennett. He moved from Rossville to Nevada three and one-half years ago.
He was married to Helen Daniels June 27, 1981, at
Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Krystal Bennett and Tonya Bennett, both of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bennett, Rossville; a sister, Yvonne Bennett, Rossville; two brothers, Randy
Bennett, Berryton, and Mark Bennett, Topeka; and grandparents, Delbert and Mary Olson, Rossville, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Reicherter, Seneca.
Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Casket bearers were Scott Bennett, David Fangman, Rod Homan, John Merriman, Steve Feldkamp, and Stan Feldkamp.
