Ernest H. Kreiensieck
HANOVER – Ernest H. Kreiensieck, 76, Hanover, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1992, at a Marysville hospital.
Mr. Kreiensieck was a farmer. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and had served in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters.
He was born July 7, 1916, on a farm north of Hanover, the son of Henry and Talke Rosenboom Kreiensieck.
Mr. Kreiensieck was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and Clement T. Farrell Post No. 306 of the American Legion, both in Hanover.
He was married to Martha Callender on Feb. 19, 1946, in Hanover. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Lois Schauman, Delia, and Marcia Cottrell, Beaumont, Calif.; a sister, Henrietta McDonald, Hanston; two brothers, Henry Kreiensieck, in Colorado, and Harold Kreiensieck, Beatrice, Neb.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church at Hanover. Military graveside services will be conducted by Clement T. Farrell Post No. 306 in Hanover Cemetery. Mr. Kreiensieck will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Hanover Mortuary and an hour before service time Thursday at the church.
