Fred Kruger
Fred Kruger, 85, Delia, died Tuesday, January 6, 1998, at an Onaga hospital.

Mr. Kruger was a farmer and stockman.

He was born May 7,1912, on a farm near Delia, the son of George F. and Rose Ann Miller Kruger.

He lived most of his life in Delia. He lived in Soldier from 1943 to 1960.

Mr. Kruger was a member of the Soldier United Methodist Church.

He was married to Esther E. Knepper on August 2, 1933, in Holton. She survives. A son, Glen Eldon Kruger, died February 5, 1956, and a grandson, Fred Jungman, died in 1996.

Other survivors include two daughters, Arvilla Jungman, Escondido, CA, and Jean Johnson, Monroe, LA; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

His service was Saturday at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial was in Holton Cemetery. Relatives and friends met Friday evening at the funeral home.
