MRS. AGNES MARTINEK
Mrs. Agnes Martinek, 84, died Mon¬day at her farm home near Delia She was born January 21, 1870, in Mon¬rovia and came to the United States when she was 11 years old. She was married in 1890 to Vincent Martinek of Rossville and had lived on the same farm since her marriage.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish at Delia and the Monrovian Lodge. Her husband preceded her in death.
She was mother of 13 children, 11 of whom survive. They are: Vincent and William Martinek, Silver Lake; Steven Martinek, Topeka; Mrs. Agnes Kozad, Scranton; Mrs. Helen Macha, Council Grove; Mrs. Stella Kovar, Emil, Bennie, Henry and Albert Martinek of Rossville, and Mrs. Mae Brown, Kansas City, Mo.
Also surviving are a brother, Joe Simecka, Delia; 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral ser¬vices were held at 8 a. m. Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Church at Delia, with burial in Mount Calvary Ceme¬tery at St. Marys. The Rosary was re¬cited at 8:30 p. m. Tuesday at her home.
