Obituary- Mason, Maynard 1

Maynard Mason

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church, with Gail B. Dunning, pastor of the Christian church officiating. He was assisted by Rev. N.P. Olney.

Music was furnished by a trio including, Norma Fawl, Peggy Navarre and Gail Dunning, who sang, "The Old Rugged Cross," and "No Night There."

Pall bearers were, Bob Hardin [sic Harden], Roland Parr, Dick Keller, Leroy Masters and Wayne Hudson.

Burial was in Rossville City cemetery.


CARD of THANKS - We sincerely thank our friends and neighbors for the kindness shown and sympathy extended us, during the illness and death of our loved one, Maynard Mason, and for the lovely floral offering.

Out-of-town relatives who have in Rossville, Wednesday called by the death and funeral of Maynard Mason included, Mrs. Z.A. Enos, of Kansas City; Allen Enos of Perry, W.W. Leeper, of Great Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Romig of Maple Hill.

Mrs. Jack Herron and Mrs. Miller of Maple Hill drove to Rossville Monday. Mrs. Miller was called by the death of her nephew, Maynard Mason.
