Frank A. Matyak
Frank A. Matyak, 71, Topeka, died Thursday, July 2, 1992, at home.

Mr. Matyak was a purchasing agent 27 years at Topeka State Hospital before he retired. He previously had worked for Manor Bakers and had been a partner in Koci-Matyak Garage from 1946 to 1949. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

He was born September 25, 1920, at Carter, S.D., the son of Paul and Marie Dolezilek Matyak. He attended South Dakota elementary schools.

He was married to Dorothy Landis May 8, 1949, in Topeka. She survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Shirley Jenssen, Topeka; a sister, Lydia Anderson, Topeka; two brothers, Paul Matyak, Delia, and Joe Matyak, Rossville; and a grandson.

Services were 1 p.m. Monday in Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial was in Prairie Home Cemetery.
