Obituary- Mayer, Mary 2

MRS. MARY MAYER

Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday (this morning) at the Rossville United Methodist Church for Mrs. Mary Mayer, 51, Rossville, who died Friday, December 29, 1978, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Ks. She had cancer.

She was born February 7, 1927, in Wetmore, and lived in Rossville 23 years.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 31, Rossville, and was active in gardening crafts.

She married Arlie Mayer on October 11, 1946, in Topeka. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Sharon Mayer, Lawrence; two sons, Jeffrey Mayer and Stanley Mayer, both of Rossville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Roush, Wetmore; two sisters, Mrs. Maxine Crawford, Topeka, and Mrs. Wanda Allen, Mitchell, Nebr.; thre brothers, Donald Roush, Corsicana, Tex., Marvin Roush, Topeka, and Loren Roush, Lawrence; and one grandchild.

Cremation will follow services, Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
