Mrs. Eva McClain
ROSSVILLE - Mrs. Eva McClain, 79, Rossville, died at her home Tuesday.

She was born April 25,1891, at Elk Fork, Kentucky. She had lived in Rossville since 1923. She was married to Roy McClain in 1910 in Kentucky.

She was a member of Rossville Christian Church and a graduate of the Menninger Bible School. She was preceeded in death by three children.

Survivors include three sons, Vencille McClain, Ashton, Ill., and Thorton McClain and Luther McClain, both of Rossville; four daughters, Mrs. Letha Reser and Mrs. Nancy Preble, both of Rossville, Mrs. Mazie Gooderl, Hoyt, and Mrs. Barbara Casto, Sarasota, Calif.; 21 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren; one brother, Eulous Trimble, Ashland, Kentucky, and one sister, Mrs. Jennie Caskey, Lenox, Kentucky.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Rossville Christian Church. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Friends may call at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, until 11 a.m. Friday. A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. McClain’s name at Rossville Christian Church.
