Obituary- McCleery, Charles

CHARLES J. McCLEERY

Charles. J. McCleery, former Topekan and formerly with the firm, McCleery and Dudley Lumber Company here, died Friday at his home in Monroe, La., according to word received in Topeka. He is survived by his wife and one son, Gilford Dudley McCleery, of the home.

The body will be brought to Topeka and funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with interment in Topeka Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 9 o’clock Monday morning until the time of service.

[Note: Monroe, Louisiana is correct. Not Iowa.]
