Marty McGrew
OAKLAND, Calif. — Marty McGrew. 48, Oakland, Calif., died May 9, 1996, in Oakland from heart complications.

Mr. McGrew was an art teacher at the FIDM School of Design at San Francisco. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was born March 18, 1947, at Dodge City, the daughter of Howard “Bill" and Arlette Collins McGrew. He had lived in California about 15 years.

Survivors include his mother, Arlette McGrew Arrastia, Temecula, Calif.; a sister, Marca Houser, Grass Valley, Calif.; and a grandmother, Pearl McGrew, Rossville.

Mr. McGrew was cremated. Memorial services were May 14 at the Chapel of the Chimes at Oakland, Calif.
