Birthday- Boone, Leamon

Leamon Boone, Topeka, will celebrate his 80th birthday as guest of honor at a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday in Snyder's Cabin in Gage Park hosted by his family.

He was born June 11, 1922.

Mr. Boone has worked in the office machines business for 60 years and has been a business owner for the last 32 years.

He and his wife, Virginia, were married June 21, 1944.

Their children and spouses are Ken and Laura Boone, San Antonio; Jim and Patti Boone, Auburn; and Ilene and Bennie Besta, Rossville. Their son, John Boone, is deceased. They have nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
