JAMES MARVIN AUBERT
James Marvin Aubert, 82, St. Marys, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at his home.
He was born May 14, 1927, on a farm near St. Marys, the son of Joseph E. and Alice F. Hale Aubert. He had lived in the St. Marys comŽmunity his whole life.
Mr. Aubert worked at Topeka State Hospital from 1952 until 1988. He dearly loved his family, cows and calves. Jim was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys and also was a life member of the Knights of CoŽlumbus Council No. 657.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Charles, two brothers, four sisters and three grandchildren.
On April 12 ,1948, he was united in marriage to Henrietta Hesse at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newbury. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his children, Clyde (Marlene) Aubert, Marvin (Betty) Aubert, Fred (Ann) Aubert, Alice (Jerry) Bertels all of St. Marys, Karen (Tom) Johnson and John (Anita) Aubert all of EmŽmett; Lucille (Ron) Hines,Chapman, Mary Jean (Dennis) Kuehler, St. George, Mary Jane (Don) Akin and Charles deceased (Jackie) Aubert, Silver Lake, Louise (Phillip) Schutter, Alma, Phyllis (Jesse) Ortega, Havensville and Delores (Karl) Sauvage, Onaga; 37 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, Oct. 12, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys.
Interment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.
