Obituary- Lacock, Gary 1

Gary Joseph Lacock
Gary Joseph Lacock, 41, died Thursday, July 2,1998 at his rural Maple Hill home.

He was born May 14,1957, in Topeka, the son of Gerald E. and Mary Jo Verschelden Lacock.

He had lived in the Maple Hill community for several years.

He grew up in Topeka and attended Topeka High School. He was an equipment operator in construction.

He was married to Laura Shafer. They were divorced.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors are, two sons, Paul Lacock and Andrew Lacock, both of Topeka; one daughter, Darlene Trujello, Topeka; two sisters, Linda DeHart, Topeka, and Brenda A. Lacock, Fort Collins, CO; a grandmother, Anna M. Verschelden, St. Marys; and one grandchild.

Memorial service and inurnment were at 1:30 Monday in the Rossville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gary J. Lacock Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.

Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, was in charge of arrangements.
