Obituary- McGuire, Ellen

Mrs. Ellen McGuire Dead
Mrs. Ellen McGuire, wife of Robert McGuire, living 3 1/2 miles southeast of Belvue died at 12 o’clock Tuesday night after an illness lasting only since Monday noon. The body will be brought to Rossville tomorrow (Friday) and funeral services held in the Catholic church at 10 80 a. m.

Interment will be in the Rossville cemetery. Mrs. McGuire is a daughter of the late Joseph Navarre and is survived beside her husband and children, three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Cryer, of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Mary Baker of this city, Mrs. Kate Hudson, of Topeka, and two brothers, Chas. Navarre, of Topeka and Ed Navarre of Rossville.

Mrs. McGuire is well known over this vicinity, having lived here many years coming with her parents from Michigan in April 1875.
