Obituary- McIntyre, Myrnah 2
MYRNAH F. McINTYRE
Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, Topeka, for Mrs. Myrnah Franklin McIntyre, 92, Poynette, Wise., formerly of Topeka. She died Monday, May 19, 1986, at the home of a daughter in Poynette.
Mrs. Franklin formerly taught in Eskridge schools.
She was born June 22, 1893, in Rossville, the daughter of Joseph M. and Lucy Kunkel Franklin. She was graduated from Baker University in Baldwin in 1917. She was affiliated with Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at Baker.
Mrs. Franklin was a member of Central United Presbyterian Church and Daughters of the American Revolution, both in Topeka.
She was married to Dr. William T. McIntyre June 17, 1920, at Rossville. He died December 3, 1982.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean M. Hohman, Irvine, Calif., and Jocille C. Schnake, Poynette, Wise.; a son. Dr. William F. Hughes-McIntyre, Richmond, Va.; a sister, Miriam A. Franklin. Topeka; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery. Relatives and friends met from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Presbyterian Manor Benevolence Fund, 4712 W. 6th, 66606.
