Clarence Miller
Word was received Saturday by Mrs. C.E. Gresser of the unexpected death of her brother, Clarence Miller of Dallas, Texas. He had lived in Dallas forty-four years and devoted the entire time to the musical life of that city. He was a member of the Dallas Symphony. One of the thrills of his visits to Rossville in the many years ago, was to sit-in with the boys of the drum section in the Saturday night band concerts held in the old bandstand on Main Street. Besides his sister here, he leaves a wife, Grace Miller a son, Capt. C.M. Miller, Jr., of Korea and Robert Miller of Dallas. Mr. and Mrs. Don Gresser left Tuesday for Dallas to attend the funeral service.
