Obituary- Mitchell, Ada

Ada Marie Mitchell
Ada Marie Mitchell, 80, Mountain Pine, AR, died Friday, June 26, 1998, in a local hospital.

She was born December 31, 1917, at Rossville, the daughter of Anthony L. and Mabel C. Reser Ruff. She was a teacher and member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Mountain Pine.

She was raised on a farm northwest of Rossville. She traveled around the world with her husband during his Army career. After his retirement, they lived in the Hot Springs and Mountain Pine areas, except for a few years in Dallas, TX.

A brother, Leo Ruff, and a son, Michael G. Mitchell, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Garland H. Mitchell, Mountain Pine, AR; one daughter, Susan Denton, Mountain Pine, AR; two sons, David Mitchell, Hot Springs, AR, and Steven L. Mitchell, Dallas, TX; and five grandchildren.

Her service was Monday, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Willisville Cemetery, Willisville, AR.
