Mrs. Mollie Mitchell
ROSSVILLE - Mrs. Mollie Mitchell, 82, Rossville, died Friday, Aug. 30, at a Topeka hospital.

She was born April 15, 1903, at Rossville, the daughter of John and Anna Balusek Kovar. She spent most of her life in Rossville and Delia except for 18 years she lived in California.

Mrs. Mitchell was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Rossville.

She was married to Ray L. Mitchell May 17, 1922, at Topeka. He survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Clara Winters, Great Bend, and Mrs. Thelma Lowy, Montebello, Calif.; a son, Cody Joe Mitchell, Bullhead City, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Rosie Koci, Topeka; a brother, Charley Kovar, Delia; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grand-children.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church here. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell will lie in state from 3 p.m. today until 9 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka where the family will meet with friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Monday.
