Obituary- Mitchell, Wayne

Wayne Mitchell

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Silver Lake Cemetery for Wayne Mitchell, 77, Port Arkansas, Tex., a former Kansan, who died Saturday, July 30, 1977, in a hospital at Corpus Christi, Tex.

He was born April 20, 1900, near Rossville and lived in the Rossville community before he moved to Port Arkansas, Tex., in 1966. He had been a farmer.

He was married to Grace White in January, 1923, at Holton. She survives.

Other survivors include a brother, Lawrence Mitchell, Silver Lake; and a sister, Mrs. Lula Pence, Topeka.

Davidson-Duff Funeral Home in Topeka is in charge of arrangements.
