Obituary- Mitchell, William H.

WILLIAM H. MITCHELL
William H. Mitchell, 86, a long-time Delia resident before moving to Rossville about four years ago, died Sunday at his home.

A retired farmer, he was born in Ohio, coming to Kansas when he was 17 years old and settling in the Delia community.

Mr. Mitchell and his wife observed their sixtieth wedding anniversary last month. He, was a member of the Delia Masonic lodge No. 419.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Anna Mitchell of the home, he leaves four sons, Ernest Mitchell of Maple Hill, Ray Mitchell of Rossville, and Earl and Ervin Mitchell, both of Delia; a sister, Mrs. Alma Dean of Rossville; two brothers, Charles Mitchell of Waukesha, Wis., and Isaac Mitchell of Silver Lake; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 2 pm Tuesday at the Parker Mortuary; burial was in the Rossville cemetery.
