Obituary- Mongold, Florence

Mrs. Florence Mongold
Mrs. Florence Mongold, 95, Topeka, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 1989, at a Rossville nursing home.

She was born March 22, 1894, at Millersburg, Ohio, the daughter of Bigham and Elizabeth Finney Uhl.

Mrs. Mongold lived in the Silver Lake community until 1960, when she moved to Topeka.

She was married to Lewis Mongold May 10, 1916, at Topeka. He died Jan. 4, 1973.

Survivors include twin sisters, Jennie Poole, Ozark, Mo., and Jeanette Hardee, Topeka.

Graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Prairie Home Cemetery, N.W. 35th and Menoken Road.

Mrs. Mongold will lie in state from 4 p.m. today until 9 a.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary, where family and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 1221 W. 17th, 66604.
