Obituary- Moore, Eldrige

JOSEPH H. MOORE DEAD
Joe H. Moore died last Friday at his home 126 Bayless, Wichita, after a lingering illness. He was born at Rossville on May 11, 1875, and went to Wichita 14 years ago from Shawnee, Okla. He was chief watchman at the Dold Packing plant for 11 years. Mr. Moore was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic church and a fourth degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and also a member of the Elks lodge. He is survived by his wife, Nora, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Reed, Muskogee, Okla.

Mr. Moore whose real name was Eldridge, was always known by his step father’s name. His wife was formerly Nora Baldon, a half sister of Mrs. Mary Navarre of this city.
