Obituary- Lasswell, Ellen

Sam Hoover's Sister Dead

Mrs. Ellen Lasswell, 60 years old, sister of Sam Hoover, died Friday at Wesley hospital in Kansas City, Mo., and the funeral was held Monday at the home of Mrs. Paul A. Liedtke, her daughter, with whom she had been living. Interment was in Mount Washington cemetery. Mrs. Lasswell at one time lived near Rossville. Children surviving her are Lee L. Lasswell, Chicago; Roy F. Lasswell, K.C., Ks; Mrs. Pearl Williamson, Los Angeles, Ca.; Mrs. P.A. Liedtke, K.C., Mo., and Mrs. N.F. Scott, Walla Walla, Wash. --15 March 1917


W.A. Hoover, of Holton, accompanied Sam home from Kansas City Tuesday where they had attended the funeral of their sister, Mrs. Lasswell. He returned home yesterday.
