Obituary- Bond, Margaret
MISS MARGARET EOND
Funeral services for Miss Margaret Bond of 1350 Wayne, who died Satur¬day morning in Topeka hospital following a long illness, were held at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with the Rev. Coghill, pastor of the First Presbyterian church in charge. Mr. C. J. McKee was the soloist.
Burial was in the Rossville cemetery
Miss Bond was born near Rossville where she lived on what now is the McMahan farm. She came to town with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm Bond, and they lived in what is now the Esther Sebring home, where she lived until 1926 when she went to Topeka. She had been a member of Rossville Presby¬terian church since 1889.
She leaves two sisters, Mrs. J. E. James and Mrs. J. W. Jamieson of To¬peka, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Messrs. Joe Parr, Joe Campbell, W. H. Kerr, Homer Reid, C. L. Emert and W. H. Bond of St. Marys.
