Francis “Frank” Muller
Francis L. “Frank” Muller, 71, Delia, died Friday, January 17,2003, at a Topeka hospital.

He was born June 7, 1931, in St. Marys, the son of Frank J. and Mary K. Bennett Muller.

He grew up in the Delia community and was graduated from St. Marys High School in 1949. He owned and operated Muller Electric Company in St. Marys for many years. He was an electrical superintendent at Jeffrey Energy Center for many years, and had also worked for Linder Electric.

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. He was an associate member of Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion in Rossville, where he was active in the building maintenance and electrical projects as a volunteer. He was also a member of the Electrical Union, Local No. 226, of Topeka.

On June 26, 1954, he married Mary Ann Cordts Bietry in St. Marys. She died November 20, 1981. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, Charles, on October 10, 1954, and by a son, Mark Alan Muller, on May 16, 1982.

He married Gladys Duncan January 18,1987, at Rossville. She survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mona Seele, Houston, TX, Joyce Lampley, Enville, TN, and Cindy Depew, Buford, GA; two stepdaughters, Peggy Steelman, Austin, TX, and Leslie Allen, Tucson, AZ; two sons, Frank S. Muller, Denison, and Bill Muller, Carbondale; a sister, Veronica “Bonnie” Brunin, and a brother, Joseph T. Muller, both of St. Marys; 21 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Muller was cremated. A memorial Mass was held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Marys. Inurnment was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jimmie Lillard Post No. 31 of the American Legion Auxiliary, Rossville, and sent in care of Piper- Verschelden Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St. Marys 66536.
