FLORENCE STOUT MURBACK
Mrs. Florence Madeline Stout Murback, daughter of Grant and Elpha Stout, was born March 31, 1905 at Paxico, Kansas and completed her earthly pilgrimage August 2, 1969 at Kansas City, Kas. hospital where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Mrs. Murback attended grade and high school in Paxico and Maple Hill, graduating from high school in the latter community.

On June 1, 1925 she was united in marriage to Jacob “Bill” Mur back in Topeka, Kansas. To this union one daughter, Maxine, was born. But the couple also furnished a home for Roy Ogden who came to live with them when he was eight years old and remained with them until he established his own home after his marriage.

Mrs. Murback was a member of the Lincoln Township Social club She was a woman who was devoted to her home and husband, who took special interest in her flowers, garden and handwork. The farm was her home and her life, and she appreciated the simple pleasures of rural living.

An outgoing, happy person she always thought of others even after she became ill in 1963. Her passing from our physical sight leaves a void of friendship in her circle of acquaintances.

Survivors include her husband of the home: her daughter, Mrs. Maxine Lundin of Delia; five sisters, MRS. Bessie St. Clair and Mrs. Ruby Dreymeyer, both of Paxico; Mrs. Mary A. Morrison of Belvue, and Mrs. Edna Cave and Juanita Stout of Paxico.

Funeral services were held at the Mercer Funeral Home ON August 4, 1969 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Don Hammerli officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. Larry Zwonitzer. Pallbearers ware: Joe McClintock. Fred Ramage, Francis Slattery, Milze Wilson, William [missing rest]
