H. C. MURRAY
Harry Charles Murray passed away at 5:10 a. m. Friday, June 5th at the home of his son, Alfred Murray of Rossville. Mr. Murray had been ill less than a week suffering from an infected hand and blood poisoning.

He was born in Clay Center, Kan., April 9,1876, and departed this life at the age of 60 years, 1 month and 26 days.

In 1901 he was united in marriage to Miss Olive Morlan at Alma, Kan. Their home was blessed with seven children, three of these preceding him in death, Ervan and Erma in infancy. and Frankie at the age of 18 years.

Mr. and Mrs. Murray spent most of their married life in the vicinity of Dover, coming there in 1902.

Besides other relatives and friends he leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, Mrs. Olive Murray, one daughter. Mrs. Vera Kahler, three sons, Alfred, Carl and Leo; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Johnson of Kingman, Kans., two brothers, Rube and Rod of Idabel, Kansas; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Murray of Junction City and eight grand children.

A short service was held at the Alfred Murray home Sunday morning conducted by the Rev. H. E, Straw, before leaving for Dover where the funeral services were held in the Dover- federated church at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Stansbury had charge of the service. Burial was in the Dover cemetery.
Dear father, thou hast left us,
Your face we’ll see no more;
But hope we’ll meet in heaven
On that celestial shore.
