Obituary- Murren, Clyde 2
Clyde L. Murren
SILVER LAKE – Clyde L. Murren, 60, Silver Lake, died Saturday, July 23, at a Topeka hospital. He had cancer.
He was born Dec. 21, 1922, at Rossville, the son of Asa and Hazel Wilson Murren. He lived in the Rossville, Silver Lake and Topeka areas all his life.
Mr. Murren was a balanceman at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., at Topeka for 35 years. He retired in 1982.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church and Silver Lake Booster Club, both at Silver Lake.
He was married to Lorene Malloy Sept. 21,1946, at Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Rodecap and Mrs. Debi Barnes, both of Topeka; his mother, Mrs. Hazel Murren, Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. Doloris Gardner, Midwest City, Okla., and Mrs. Dorene Hadl, Lawrence; two brothers, Leroy Murren, Ovebrook, and Asa Murren, Topeka; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens, Topeka. The family will meet with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary’. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3003 Van Buren, Topeka, 66611, or Silver Lake United Methodist Church, Silver Lake, 66539.
MURREN, CLYDE L. - age 60, of Silver Lake, passed away July 23, 1983. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Chapel, with Rev. William Hurtig officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3003 Van Buren, Topeka 66611, or to the Silver Lake United Methodist Church, Silver Lake 66539. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary.
