Obituary- Murry, Harry

Harry M. Murry
DELIA - Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church here for Harry M. Murry, 88, Delia, who died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital.

He was born Nov. 10, 1885, at St. Marys and had lived in the St. Marys and Delia area all of his life. Mr. Murry was a stone mason.

He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Delia. He was an Army veteran of World War I, serving in France.

He was married to the former Frances E. Vaughn in 1925 at Delia. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Robert E. Murry, 1920 Illinois, Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Roberta VandeVelde, 800 E. 28th, Topeka, and Mrs. Mary Huffstutler, Vienna, Mo.; a step-son, Bernard Kerwin, New Orleans, La.; two brothers, Roy Murry, 3801 W. 12th, Topeka, and Neil Murry, Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Katie McNeive, 1255 Wayne, Topeka; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery at St. Marys.
