Obituary- Myers, Ross

Ross Wilson Myers
Ross Wilson Myers, 82, 2022 S.E. 10th, died Friday at a local nursing home.

He was born Nov. 8, 1892, at Rossville. He had been a Topeka resident since 1920. He was retired from the Topeka Park Dept.

He was married to Theresa Bledsoe. She survives.

Other survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Sharon Jackson, 2022 S.E. 10th, Mrs. Pearl Wells, Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Wynona Wasser, 3217 Wisconsin, Mrs. Olive, Lindsay, 1224 Garfield, and Mrs. Beverly Carlin, 2035 E. 35th and five sons, Ross Myers Jr., Jacksonville, Fla., Donald Eugene Myers, 1313 Winfield, Dale Myers, 205 Arter, Merle Myers, 1401 Polk, and Clifford Myers, 3247 W. 31st Ter.

Other survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Gwen McAfee, Decatur, Ala., Mrs. Edna White, San Francisco, Mrs. Mildred Fisher, 2037 High, and Mrs. Olive Cochran, 1163 Boswell; two brothers, Vernon Myers, Rossville, and Clark Myers, Atlanta, Ga., and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 :30 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Mortuary. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery.
