Obituary- Lewis, Martha

MRS. MARTHA LEWIS
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Parker Mortuary for Mrs. Martha B. Lewis, 90, Rossville, who died Wednesday, April 6, 1977 in a Topeka hospital.

She was born March 21, 1887, at Wabaunsee, and lived most of her life at Willard. She was caretaker at the Rock Island Railroad station at Willard for many years, and moved to Rossville 15 years ago.

She was married to Richard G. Lewis on July 20, 1916, at Willard. He died in 1954.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Lewis, Topeka, and Duane Lewis, Santee, Calif.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Casket bearers were Joe Viergever, Chris Viergever, Bill Crow, Scott Kelsey, Andy Viergever and Ralph Page.
