Obituary- Lillard, Glendon
Glendon L. “Bud” Lillard
Glendon L. “Bud” Lillard, 86, Rossville, died Sunday, February 23, 1997, at a Topeka hospital.
He was born in Rossville on April 27, 1910, the son of Rufus and Nellie Martin Lillard. He had lived in the Rossville community most of his life. He was a farmer and stockman in the Rossville community, and retired in 1972.
Survivors include two sisters, Phyllis Graves, Rossville, and Lucille Bagby, Marquette, Mich.; two nieces and one nephew.
His service is at 2:00 Wednesday at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. He will lie in state from 2:00 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (today).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rossville Valley Manor and sent in care of the funeral home.
Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys, is in charge of arrangements.

ROSSVILLE – Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys for Glendon L. “Bud” Lillard, 86, Rossville, who died Sunday, Feb. 23, 1997, at a hospital in Topeka.
He was born April 27, 1910, in Rossville, the son of Rufus and Nellie Martin Lillard, and spent most of his life in the Rossville community. He was a farmer and stockman.
